I’m Terilyn McPhee, a Certified Coach and the founder of Marble Bucket Coaching.

Born a free spirit, natural disrupter, and hopeless romantic—and raised by strong, progressive women—little girl me had big dreams of adventures with visions of saving the world!

But instead of following those dreams, I let the messed up messages of the outside world from my expectations of what I, as a woman, should aspire to be. Before I even made it to middle school I knew what I had to be in order to fit in this world…

I was going to be a Charlie's Angel with a side of Disney Mom.

The only problem was, on the inside I was more Pippy Longstocking or Anne of Green Gables. This made for a life spent trying to twist myself to conform to an impossible image. Instead of embracing my rambunctious red-headed self, I spent all of my days stuffing myself into every round hole of perfection laid out in front of me, convincing myself that this time I would fit

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that life has a funny way of pointing us in the right direction.

For all the days I’d spent abandoning my own dreams and squashing my own spirit, I could still see the light in the dreams of others, encouraging them to follow theirs…

As a mother, a friend, and a coach, I’ve spent more than 3 decades helping people to love and nurture their relationship with themselves and NOT allow their identity to be defined by outside messaging…

Yet there I was, still digging out my sparkling light just to let life smother it again.

Until I woke up one day, exhausted and disillusioned and I looked back at a lifetime of decisions that led me to a life that was everything I never wanted…

It was then that I realized it had been ME who was smothering my light! Sometimes it was a safety space or trauma response, I’m sure that sometimes it’s just habit … but all the times those suffocating holes of perfectionism are the spaces where the most miserable things happen.

I also realized that it’s when I live true to my terrifically imperfect self that the most wonderful things happen!

It was time to take ownership of how I show up in my own life, to forgive myself for not fitting the mold and most importantly it was time to stop apologizing to the world for being me …

I learned to give myself the gift of understanding my own story the way I understood others. Life will always be a work in progress but giving myself permission to see, own and love all the bits of me, and of my life - from the yukky to the glorious - is the best thing I’ve ever done.

Today I make time to dance, play, laugh, travel and run after my grandson, who is the light of my life. I make time for quiet and, most recently I’ve learned to pause before saying yes to be sure it’s what’s best for my world.
I’m doing the work I love to do, with people who bring joy to my soul.

I look in the mirror and love who I see.

I am, unapologetically, Terilyn McPhee.

And I am here to help you be the same for yourself.

I BELIEVE

The way to save the world is through helping women move from a life defined by messed-up external messaging, to one where they define their worth.

When a woman chooses how she stands up in her own life, she will learn to accept nothing less from the world around her.

YOU ARE WORTH IT.

As a certified coach, but more importantly as a woman who’s been there, done that, and written my name on the T-shirt, I’m loving building a life doing something I’m so passionate about... saving the world one woman at a time.

  • If you show up everyday, doing what you should do, but still feel empty at the end of the day…

  • If every night those lines around your eyes get a little deeper but your eyes have a little less sparkle…

  • If you have a bucket of incomplete promises to yourself…

  • If you know that something has to change, you don’t have to know what…

  • If you understand the value of a space where you can explore your relationship with yourself with an objective, non-judgey coach to mentor you through those rough patches and keep you on course…

And If you’re ready to start:

  • Defining for yourself what a successful, vibrant, sexy, and empowered woman looks like…

  • Rediscovering your relationship with yourself…

  • Looking in the mirror at eyes that sparkle with life again…

Then we need to talk.
